Interests and experiences
Astronomy
Since end of 2002, my family and I have developed an interest in Astronomy. To explore this, I have built a small Observatory in the back of our garden. The observatory houses a 14 inch (350 mm) computerized Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope. The telescope is a LX200GPS 14" UHTC from the company Meade, California USA
The Observatory is 4 x 4 meters square, approx. 2 meters high, with a 3 meter rotating dome on top of it. The dome is fully electric controlled, both the shutters and the rotation of the dome.
Everything is of course computer controlled (all control systems are designed and build by myself).
